Supporting the development of the Internal Audit data analytics program, including defining the analytics strategy, building repeatable analytics and embedding full-population testing into audit engagements.
Helping design and implement continuous monitoring of key risks and controls using ERP and operational data, including exception reporting and dashboards.
Evaluating technology and AI-related risks and controls within engagements, including IT general controls, cybersecurity, data governance and the use of AI tools.
Supporting the Enterprise Risk Management (“ERM”) program, including engagement with risk owners and reporting to the Executive Team and Audit Committee.
Tracking and validating the implementation of management action plans from prior audits.

Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with Corporate, Business Unit and IT leadership, including senior management.
Maintaining a high level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
Supporting the overall goals of the team and organization by performing other duties as assigned.

Working knowledge of IT general controls, cybersecurity and AI risks and governance is considered an asset.
Public accounting, audit firm or risk advisory experience is considered an asset.
Oil and gas midstream or energy industry experience, including exposure to capital projects, is considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and build effective relationships.
Strong business analytical skills including process mapping, process improvement and root cause analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise messages for stakeholders.
Firm understanding of the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and the COSO internal control framework.
Demonstrates initiative, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple priorities.
