The opportunity

Located at the Head Office in Montreal, the General accounting department manages all the day-to-day accounting operations (payables and general ledger) and reporting of the head office.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Accounting, the incumbent will support the team with various accounting tasks.

This is a temporary position based at the Head Office in Montreal. The schedule is Monday to Friday with flexible working hours, ranging from a minimum of 7 hours to a maximum of 35 hours per week.

The role

Verify integration invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, and maintain integration files up to date.
Support the new vendor setup and vendor creation process.
Review and update supplier master data records.
Assist with Accounts Payable data entry and related administrative tasks.
Prepare fixed asset reports and maintain supporting documentation.
Enter journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
Support with the preparation of reports and analyses, and support special projects as required.

The requirements

Completed College diploma (DEC) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken.
Strong initiative with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French – mainly English.
