Driver class 1

Pay: From CA$29.00 per hour

Job description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver construction materials within Calgary and surrounding area
• Assist with loading and unloading of semi trailers for transport.
• Load Securement of various construction materials and equipment
• Perform spotter duties
• Complete pre-trip inspections, driver logs and hazard assessments
• Other duties as assigned
• Compensation

• Overtime paid after 8 hours a day
• Paid every 2 weeks with direct deposit
• Compensation dependent on experience and skill

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years’ experience operating commercial vehicles
• Class 1 Drivers License; MANUAL TRANSMISSION ONLY!
• Good knowledge of Calgary and surrounding area
• Motivated, Hardworking, able to work overtime hours and Saturdays if needed
• Team player and safety oriented
• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Valid safety certificates such as: First-Aid, Telehandler Forklift Certificate, are assets.
• Must be able to comply with company drug and alcohol policy
• CSTS training is a prerequisite for employment. If you do not have this training, we are happy to assist.
