Serve as the subject matter expert for your assigned category, leveraging market intelligence and industry best practices to drive informed decisions.
Collaborate with global procurement teams to identify and implement strategic sourcing opportunities across Glencore operations.
Negotiate and manage complex contracts for operational services and supplies while securing competitive commercial terms and protecting the company's interests.
Monitor supplier, commercial and supply-chain performance, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, schedule and delivery expectations.
Assess and mitigate commercial, operational and supply-chain risks through proactive planning and stakeholder engagement.
Ensure adherence to corporate governance requirements, procurement policies, Delegation of Authority guidelines, and applicable legal and regulatory standards.
Provide commercial insights, procurement reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership teams.
