Reporting to the Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique, and motivating environment. Your main duties will be:
- Perform maintenance on heavy and light equipment assigned to mining operations.
- Repair heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, motor graders, trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Perform troubleshooting, routine repairs, preventative maintenance, breakdown analysis and parts inspection.
- Execute the schedule proposed by your supervisor.
- Holder of a Diploma of Vocational Studies in Construction Equipment Mechanics or equivalent, combined with five (5) years of relevant experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy and light equipment.
- Experience in the maintenance of components related to engines, transmissions as well as the electrical and hydraulic systems is required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar, Volvo and Western truck equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities
Maintain and repair heavy and light equipment used in mining operations, including loaders, graders, trucks, and forklifts. Perform troubleshooting, routine and preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, and parts inspections while following the supervisor’s work schedule.
Requirements
Requires a vocational diploma in construction equipment mechanics or equivalent, plus five years of relevant experience maintaining and repairing heavy and light equipment. Experience with engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems, and a valid driver’s license are required; familiarity with Caterpillar, Volvo, and Western truck equipment is an asset.
