Job Description
Construction laborers are responsible for performing physical tasks on construction sites to assist in the creation, renovation, or demolition of structures. They collaborate with other team members and follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradesmen. Common duties include digging trenches, mixing and pouring concrete, and assisting in the installation of various construction materials. Construction laborers operate a variety of hand and power tools, such as shovels, jackhammers, saws, and drills. They assist in loading and unloading construction materials, tools, and equipment at the worksite. Construction laborers may be involved in setting up and removing temporary structures, such as scaffolding. Construction laborers may assist in the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures, such as concrete forms.
