Job SummaryThis role is specifically for candidates who are open to and seeking full-time employment - not contract or CTW engagements. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on Go (Golang) development experience and the ability to lead and mentor a development team within an enterprise financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a development team, providing technical direction and guidance
- Champion and instill clean code principles and software development best practices across the team
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit test suites following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Integrate static code analysis and security/vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk and SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to AI-assisted/AI-driven software development tools and practices
Required Skills- Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang) application development
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a development team, providing technical direction and guidance
- Strong working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, including writing and maintaining comprehensive unit test suites
- Experience with static code analysis and security/vulnerability scanning tools such as Snyk and SonarQube
- Strong emphasis on clean code principles and software development best practices, with the ability to champion and instill these standards across the team
- Awareness of, and genuine interest in, AI-assisted/AI-driven software development tools and practices
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills- Experience with AWS Secrets Manager
- Experience integrating SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines
Education Requirements- Computer Science degree (or equivalent) - ideally required
Required Experience- 6–8 years of overall software development experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of dedicated hands-on Go (Golang) development experience
