We are seeking a skilled and reliable UNIX Midrange Support Specialist with strong expertise in Unix system administration, including Red Hat, SuSe, and AIX platforms. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in IBM storage and backup support, as well as hands-on experience in Microsoft Server and Azure environments. This role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and securing server infrastructure across Unix and Microsoft platforms.

• Provide midrange Unix support, including system setup, maintenance, and monitoring for Red Hat, SuSe, and AIX environments.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Deliver technical support and troubleshooting to resolve server, application, and infrastructure issues.
• Administer and support Microsoft Server and Azure environments from a systems administration perspective.
• Set up, manage, and secure user and system-level permissions in line with organizational security policies.
• Support IBM Storage (including SVC) and backup technologies.
• Document technical procedures, system configurations, and create user guides for system updates or new deployments.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to users and internal teams on new technologies and systems.
• Contribute to infrastructure-related projects and implementations as required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Server and Azure Administration, including system setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with security best practices, including role-based access and permission management.
• Strong technical writing skills for documentation and user guide development.
• Experience supporting IBM Storage (including SVC) and enterprise backup solutions.

• Certified Unix/Linux Professional (e.g., Red Hat Certified System Administrator)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• IBM Storage Certification (preferred but not required)

• 2–4 years of post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat, SuSe, and AIX administration.

• Occasional overtime or schedule adjustments may be required but are generally limited. Flexibility is essential for support coverage.
• On-call rotation for after-hours support is required.

• This is a 100% onsite role; in-person interviews are preferred.
• Three-page resume required.
• Three professional references required per resource.
