Blyth Academy Ottawa is seeking a highly organized and student-focused professional to join our campus team as a Guidance Administrator. This role is primarily responsible for providing guidance and counselling to students while supporting the accurate maintenance of Ontario Student Records (OSRs), student records, and related campus administration.

The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, teachers, the Principal, and Head Office to support student success and the smooth operation of the campus.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance to students in Grades 9–12 regarding course selection, academic planning, graduation requirements, and post-secondary pathways.
Support students and parents with university and college applications, including OUAC, OCAS, and international applications.
Support students with Grade 9 transition, Student Support Plans, academic concerns, and post-secondary planning.
Work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and the Principal to support student success and well-being.
Provide information on summer school, night school, private studies, study abroad, and academic exchange opportunities.
Maintain and provide appropriate community resources and referrals.
Oversee the creation, maintenance, transfer, and closing of Ontario Student Records (OSRs).
Ensure student records, transcripts, report cards, and other documentation are accurate, complete, secure, and up to date.
Maintain student information in applicable school systems and databases.
Assist with course scheduling, timetabling, admissions, interviews, and student follow-up.
Provide general administrative support to the Principal and campus team.

Qualifications & Experience

College diploma or university degree preferred.
Minimum of two years' experience in a secondary school Guidance role preferred.
Strong knowledge of OSSD requirements, OUAC, OCAS, and OSR procedures.
Experience with OSR management, including creation, transfer, maintenance, and closing.
Familiarity with Trevlac, Edsby, and attendance management systems is an asset.
Experience with international students and post-secondary applications is highly preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
