Glow connects capital to customers through trusted brands. Our embedded fintech platform lets mobile operators, OEMs, and consumer electronics retailers offer device finance, insurance, and trade-in at the point of sale, serving partners across EMEA, AMERS, and APAC. We're at an inflection point: evolving from a conventional lending platform into an AI-native embedded FinTech platform built to serve tens of millions of customers. Over the next 24–36 months we're rebuilding how the company operates, and the infrastructure and tooling our engineers build is what makes AI-enabled processes, AI-augmented decisioning, and AI-native operations viable at the unit economics this business requires.

About The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented and motivated individual looking to build a career in Fraud Risk Management. Working closely with the Fraud Team, the Junior Fraud Analyst will support the identification, investigation and prevention of fraud across our US and Canadian operations.

This is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on experience across fraud detection, application review, data analysis and fraud investigations. The successful candidate will be analytical, curious and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and collaborate effectively with colleagues and business partners.

Support the Fraud Team in identifying, assessing and mitigating fraud risks across the US and Canadian portfolios.
Review applications, alerts and customer activity that may indicate fraudulent or suspicious behaviour.
Use fraud prevention and analytics tools to identify patterns, trends and potential fraud networks.
Assist with fraud investigations by gathering information, documenting findings and escalating higher-risk cases to experienced analysts.
Develop knowledge of fraud typologies, customer behaviour, industry trends and the internal systems and controls used to manage fraud risk.
Build the skills and experience required to progress into a more experienced Fraud Analyst role over time.

What You'll Do

Review fraud alerts and applications in line with established procedures and risk appetite.
Analyse customer, application, transaction and device-related information to identify potential indicators of fraud.
Research and document investigation findings clearly and accurately.
Identify patterns, trends and connections within fraud data and escalate potential organised fraud activity.
Support the maintenance and monitoring of fraud rules, controls and referral processes.
Produce and maintain MI and reporting to support the Fraud Team's operational and risk management activities.
Work collaboratively with Fraud Operations, Risk, Customer Operations, Technology, Data and external partners.
Maintain accurate case records and ensure investigations are completed within agreed service levels.
Keep up to date with emerging fraud trends and contribute ideas to improve fraud prevention processes.
Undertake additional fraud analysis and investigation activity as required by the business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Some experience or strong interest in fraud, financial services, risk, investigations, analytics or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working with data and able to identify patterns and anomalies.
Ability to investigate issues logically, ask appropriate questions and reach evidence-based conclusions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing workloads and meet deadlines.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Willingness to learn fraud systems, data tools and investigation techniques.
A proactive approach and genuine curiosity about fraud and emerging fraud risks.
Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience is desirable but not essential.

Development Opportunity

This role provides a structured opportunity to develop within the Fraud Team. The successful candidate will initially focus on core fraud review and investigation activities and, with experience and demonstrated capability, will progressively take on more complex investigations, analytical work, fraud typology development and risk management responsibilities. The longer-term objective is to develop the individual into a fully competent Fraud Analyst, with the opportunity to progress into a Senior Fraud Analyst role as experience and capability increase.
