Original job description

What we do

Glowtify is an AI-powered marketing platform built for industrial B2B SMBs: manufacturers, distributors and contractors with 10 to 200 employees, across Quebec and the US. Our customers are solid businesses built on relationships, referrals and trade shows, and they have never had a marketing person in-house. We give them a digital presence that works while they run production.

The role

You close what the team books, and you build part of your own calendar. In practice:

Discovery and demo in one call. You hold 40 to 50 demos a month with owners and presidents of industrial companies, 20 to 200 employees, nobody doing marketing. Qualify fast, demo well, leave with a next step or a clean no.
Your own pipeline. The lists and tooling are built for you; the conversations are yours to start.
One to three meetings to close. The cycle runs 40 to 50 days. Follow-up, proposal and signature are yours. A cofounder joins when a deal needs it, not by default.
Trade shows. No booths. You walk the floor at two to four shows a year, Quebec and US, and turn hallway conversations into booked calls.
CRM discipline. Every demo, stage, source and close date current in HubSpot the same day. We review the numbers weekly.
You report to the CRO. Two SDRs, our email outreach and the partner network feed the rest of your calendar. You hand every close to customer success clean.

What we are looking for

2 to 5 years closing B2B deals in the $20K to $50K annual range, with the numbers to show for it, including deals you sourced yourself.
Professional French and English, spoken and written. You demo in both every week. See the language note below.
The ability to sell to a 58-year-old plant owner who has been burned by two agencies and does not care about marketing. He wants more quote requests. SaaS jargon does not work here.
Comfort with volume. Two to three demos a day plus your own outreach is the normal week.
Follow-through: proposals the same day, nothing parked at 90% for three months.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Experience using CRM and sales prospecting tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, Instantly & Clay
A high level of curiosity and a willingness to learn quickly - AI curiosity
An autonomous and self-directed working style. You thrive with a clear goal and minimal supervision
Comfort working across time zones and cultures

Helpful but not required: background in manufacturing, industrial distribution or construction; experience selling to owner-operated SMBs; a network in Quebec industry.

What we do not require: a SaaS pedigree or a specific degree. We look at what you have actually closed and how you got in the door.

Location: In person at our Montreal HQ three days a week (Tuesday –Thursday).

Type of contract: Permanent, Full-time (40h/week)

OTE: $150,000–$180,000 CAD

Responsibilities

Conduct 40–50 monthly discovery calls and product demonstrations, qualify prospects, manage follow-up and proposals, and close B2B sales while also building a self-sourced pipeline. Maintain accurate HubSpot records, develop leads through trade shows and outreach, and hand closed customers over to customer success.

Requirements

Candidates need 2–5 years of B2B closing experience with $20,000–$50,000 annual deals, including self-sourced deals, and professional spoken and written French and English. They should be comfortable with a high-volume sales pace, CRM and prospecting tools, autonomous work, and selling to industrial SMB owners; manufacturing or construction experience is helpful but not required.
