Law Clerk – Accident Benefits / Tort & Commercial/Civil Litigation
Toronto, ON | Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
Our client is a leading personal injury law firm with decades of experience advocating for clients across Ontario. They are dedicated to ensuring every client receives the care, attention, and fair compensation they deserve.
They are currently seeking 2 experienced Law Clerks to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Accident Benefits and/or Tort Law, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in personal injury, commercial litigation, civil litigation, or a related practice area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and process OCF forms and related Accident Benefits documentation
- Liaise with lawyers, paralegals, insurers, clients, and other legal professionals
- Apply knowledge and understanding of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS)
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Prepare detailed file summaries and maintain organized client files
- Review and summarize medical documentation and other relevant evidence
- Assist with litigation preparation, including document review and production
- Maintain daily communication with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, and third parties
- Manage deadlines, diarist important dates, and ensure files remain up to date
- Provide general litigation and file management support to the legal team
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant law clerk experience
- Experience in Accident Benefits, Tort, Personal Injury, Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation, or a related practice area
- Strong knowledge of OCF forms and SABS is an asset for Accident Benefits candidates
- Experience with pleadings, document preparation, file management, and litigation processes
- Excellent grammar, spelling, proofreading, and written communication skills
- Superior analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to multitask and work independently
- Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through
