Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, providing daily direction across receiving, sortation, staging, loadout, and dispatch.
Assign tasks and plan daily workflow based on parcel volume, route schedules, staffing levels, and priorities so parcels are ready for dispatch on time.
Oversee unloading and receiving from trucks and containers, making sure parcels are accurately scanned, sorted, and moved to the right staging areas.
Create and adjust daily delivery routes based on volume, delivery zones, route capacity, and driver availability. Keep routes balanced and achievable within delivery windows.
Oversee loadout so parcels are assigned to the correct routes, loaded into the right vehicles, and dispatched safely and on schedule.
Coordinate with drivers and Fleet Operators on route assignments, vehicle availability, and delays.
Track associate and site performance against target metrics and SLAs. Keep accurate records, report daily results to operations leadership, and give management feedback on associate performance.
Train and coach associates on scanning, sortation, loadout, safety, and SOPs. Hold regular team meetings to share goals, updates, and feedback.
Enforce safety standards and 5S processes, and do regular checks of receiving, staging, and loadout areas for accuracy and organization.
Resolve or escalate issues such as damaged or missing parcels, shortages, route delays, and vehicle or driver problems.
Build an open, supportive team culture, and work hands-on with scanners, carts, and dollies when needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or last-mile operations.
Experience in a parcel sortation environment is strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite; experience with warehouse management software is an asset.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changing volumes, staffing, and route schedules.
Able to communicate and follow directions in English.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing and walking.
Valid reach truck license is a bonus.
Reliable transportation due to the hours of work.
Authorized to work for any employer in Canada.
