Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
Employment: Full-time, permanent.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility around start and finish times.

Location: St. Thomas, Ontario.

What You'll Be Doing

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective business customers.
Identify new sales leads and actively develop business opportunities.

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable steel, metal products and value-added services.
Prepare, present and follow up on customer quotations and pricing proposals.
Negotiate pricing, address customer concerns and work towards closing sales.
Coordinate with internal operations, warehouse and logistics teams to support timely order fulfilment.
Track sales activities, maintain customer records and manage opportunities through the CRM system.
Work towards monthly sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.

What We're Looking For

At least 3 years of sales or customer-facing experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and identify sales opportunities.
Experience managing accounts, preparing quotations and following up to secure business.
Confidence in discussing pricing, handling objections and closing sales.
Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn CRM and other sales systems.
Secondary school education.

Experience That Will Give You an Advantage

Previous experience in a Steel Service Centre, metal distribution, or steel manufacturing environment.

We are open to strong sales professionals from other industries who understand B2B relationships, take ownership of their accounts, and know how to develop and close business. Product and industry knowledge can be learned by the right person.

Is This Opportunity Right for You?

This is primarily an inside sales position, with most of your work conducted from the office. You will have the opportunity to develop customer relationships, manage accounts, and contribute directly to business growth. Occasional customer or job-site visits may be required.
