About this opportunity:

GoEngineer is looking for an Account Manager, Software to join our team in Cambridge, Ontario. In this role, you’ll build trusted relationships with customers, learn how their businesses operate, and connect them with software solutions and services that help them achieve their goals.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining relationship management, consultative sales, and technology. You’ll manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new opportunities to expand GoEngineer’s partnership with each client.

What You’ll Do

Grow and develop customer accounts

Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profitability goals.
Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships through additional products and services.
Partner with internal GoEngineer teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs and drive account growth.
Build account plans that identify opportunities and support long-term customer success.

Build strong customer relationships

Develop and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with customers.
Learn each customer’s business, challenges, goals, and technology needs.
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions, needs, and escalations.
Maintain regular communication with customers to understand evolving priorities and uncover new opportunities.

Connect customers with the right solutions

Understand GoEngineer’s software solutions and clearly communicate their value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work with customers to align GoEngineer solutions and services with their strategic initiatives.
Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.

Support customer success

Help ensure customers receive value from the solutions and services they purchase.
Proactively identify and address customer concerns.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and create a positive customer experience.

Manage your business

Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and account information in NetSuite.
Track account activity, sales opportunities, and progress toward goals.
Prepare customer presentations, account updates, forecasts, and other reporting as needed.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of sales or account management experience, ideally within manufacturing, information technology, engineering software, or computer software.
Experience selling CAD, engineering, or technical software solutions is preferred. Experience with SOLIDWORKS is a plus.
Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear business value for customers.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of customer relationships and sales goals.
Strong organization and time-management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, technical, customer success, and other internal teams.
Ability to travel as business needs require.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent education and relevant professional experience will also be considered.

Competitive Compensation Includes:

Base pay ($55,000-$60,000) plus uncapped commissions, with an anticipated OTE of over $100,000.
