🚛 We’re Hiring: Truck Dispatcher - Mandarin & English Required | GOFO
📍 Mississauga, ON | Full-time | On-site
GOFO is looking for a bilingual Truck Dispatcher to coordinate daily truck transfers, work with carriers and drivers, and support efficient transportation operations.
📋 What you’ll do:
- Schedule truck pickups and transfers, coordinating with carriers, drivers, and warehouse teams.
- Monitor on-time departures and arrivals, truck availability, and load utilization.
- Resolve transportation delays, cancellations, and scheduling changes.
- Maintain accurate dispatch schedules and transportation records.
- Analyze historical shipment volumes to identify weekly and seasonal trends and plan transportation capacity.
- Compare transportation options to improve efficiency and control costs.
✅ What we’re looking for:
- Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
- Experience in truck dispatch, transportation coordination, or a related field.
- Established relationships with trucking companies or drivers are strongly preferred.
- Practical Excel skills and experience analyzing shipment volumes to support vehicle scheduling.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with logistics management software, GPS, or GIS tools is an asset.
