About GOFO Express

GOFO Express is a North American logistics company serving cross-border e-commerce businesses and local clients. As our Canadian operations continue to grow, we are strengthening our financial operations, cash management, and internal control processes.

We are looking for a Finance Supervisor – Canada to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our Canadian entities and work closely with business teams, headquarters, and external professional service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Expense Management & Financial Operations

Manage corporate credit cards, employee expense reimbursements, and related financial processes.
Review supporting documents and the reasonableness of expenses, and follow up on discrepancies or exceptions.
Perform monthly corporate credit card reconciliation, account clearing, and expense analysis.
Maintain complete, accurate, and traceable financial records.

Accounting & Cash Management

Support reconciliation and tracking of transactions involving Canadian entities and related parties, and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
Assist with the management of Canadian bank accounts, payments, and cash settlements, including payment review and related internal controls.
Support reconciliation and financial documentation for leases, deposits, and other operational matters.

Tax Compliance & Audit Support

Maintain registration information, filing calendars, and compliance documentation required for Canadian entities and interprovincial operations.
Work with internal tax teams and external advisors to prepare supporting documentation for GST/HST, T4A, and other applicable tax filings, reconcile tax amounts, and track payment status.
Support provincial tax and compliance matters based on the jurisdictions in which the business operates.
Prepare documentation for annual and special-purpose audits, respond to audit inquiries, and follow up on remediation items.

Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Develop and maintain procedures, documentation, and tracking records for expense management, payments, and reconciliations.
Identify financial and operational risks and support continuous process improvements.
Collaborate with Canadian Operations, Procurement, Human Resources, and Finance teams at headquarters to support business growth and finance-related projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in financial operations, accounts payable, expense management, accounting, audit support, or a related area, with experience supporting financial operations for a Canadian entity.
Strong understanding of financial processes and internal controls, with the ability to independently manage reconciliations, financial documentation, and cross-functional follow-ups.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and commonly used accounting or financial systems; experience with QuickBooks or similar systems is preferred.
Professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
Strong attention to detail, execution skills, time management, and coordination abilities.
Experience with Canadian GST/HST, provincial taxation, interprovincial operations, logistics, or cross-border e-commerce is an asset.

Career Development

This role will have broad exposure to financial operations, cash management, tax coordination, audit support, and internal control development across our Canadian business. The successful candidate will work closely with both North American and headquarters finance teams and contribute to the continued improvement and development of our Canadian finance operations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: CAD $70,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
