🚚 We’re hiring: Transportation Supervisor | GOFO
📍 Mississauga, ON | On-site
GOFO is looking for a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate container drayage operations, manage carrier relationships, and support reliable, on-time deliveries.
What you’ll do:
- Monitor and manage container drayage movements, shipment status, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate daily container delivery schedules with drayage carriers.
- Maintain carrier relationships and source backup carriers when capacity is limited.
- Coordinate timely pre-pull yard solutions when needed.
- Track logistics service provider performance and improve on-time delivery, lead times, and responsiveness to quotation requests.
- Share delivery updates with customers and prepare monthly KPI and ad hoc reports.
- Document corrective actions and improvement plans, and verify their effectiveness.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or GED.
- In-depth understanding of the U.S. transportation industry, particularly inland transportation and freight forwarding.
- Strong project and people management skills.
- Ability to monitor drayage operations through GPS tracking, delivery timeline control, and performance evaluation.
