Original job description
Our client, a well-established Vancouver commercial interiors firm, is hiring a Senior Account Executive to build lasting relationships with the design community and grow project-based business across the Lower Mainland. This is a relationship-driven role, not a transactional one.
What you’ll do
- Build and grow relationships with commercial interior designers, architects, general contractors and other key influencers
- Develop new business through networking, referrals, and warm and cold outreach
- Manage executive-level relationships within existing accounts and grow them over time
- Guide clients through commercial projects from early planning to installation, working alongside internal design and project teams
- Stay visible in the Vancouver design and real estate community through industry events and associations
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and share market insights with leadership
What you bring
- 5+ years of sales or account management experience in commercial interiors, furniture, or a related project-based industry (e.g. flooring, architectural walls, millwork, lighting)
- Experience working directly with designers on commercial projects (commercial, not residential)
- An established network in the Vancouver design and construction community
- A consultative, relationship-first approach with a track record of repeat business and referrals
- Comfort with long, multi-stakeholder project sales cycles
- Strong organizational skills and CRM discipline
What’s offered
- Base salary plus commission & benefits. Compensation listed is base, does not include commissions
- Hybrid schedule: in the downtown Vancouver office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Monday and Friday (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
- A collaborative team with strong internal design and project support
