Title: Product Engineering Technologist
Reports to: President
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the new product development and approval processes.
- Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate product performance
- Monitor and analyze data to recommend improvements
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
- Technical support on daily issues.
- Support the procurement of materials and equipment
- Liaison between suppliers, customers and GSI team members.
- Support Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Attend trade shows, meetings and conferences as required.
- Assign and maintain all GSI part numbers, nomenclatures and part descriptions.
- Assure all products and processes meet quality, cost and safety guideline
requirements.
- Escalate issues to management and recommend solutions.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by the President.
Qualifications / Skills:
Maintain high level of expertise in HVACR
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills.
Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Technologist Diploma or higher
5 years of experience in AC/ Refrigeration Engineering
