Summary:
The Golf Shop Attendant provides excellent customer service by acting as the friendly first point of contact for golfers while supporting the overall golf operations experience.
Responsibilities:
- Key duties include operating the POS system, managing reservations, balancing cash, merchandising, opening/closing procedures and communicate with management.
- Greet customers entering the establishment.
- The ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally.
- Answer customers' questions and offer direction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Processing cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
- Data Entry and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly golf shop area inside and outside.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Smart Serve certified required
- Professional appearance and manners
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Knowledge of golf etiquette and operations is often required.
- First Aid certified is an asset
