Driven by an unrelenting desire to co-create a wiser, kinder, and more beautiful world, we built a platform centred around responsible brands and artisans producing timeless everyday objects. We empower creators and consumers to make a difference through conscious commerce, championing community, transparency, and sustainability every step of the way. As we launch our first-ever retail space, we seek an inspired and entrepreneurial leader to help shape this next chapter.

Role Purpose

As an Assistant-Manager, you will be the face of GOODEE’s retail experience, supporting the manager into leading a passionate team to bring our values and vision to life. You will help foster an inclusive, inspiring atmosphere that encourages connection - between products, people, and purpose.

Through strategic leadership and a customer-first mindset, you will be a key part of cultivating a store environment that delivers exceptional experiences, drives sales, and builds lasting relationships. As this is our first brick-and-mortar location, you will help shaping GOODEE’s approach to physical retail.

This role requires an individual with diligence, passion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

What We Are Looking For

Experience within a customer service environment, with a proven ability to lead and drive sales as well as supporting the development of a high-performing team.
Passion for delivering a meaningful customer experience, ensuring every interaction builds loyalty and strengthens the connection between customers and the brand.
Ability to support coaching and development of team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where all voices are valued.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to track key business metrics and implement improvements as needed.
Strong communication, merchandising, and operational skills, with the ability to maintain an organized and engaging retail environment.
Working experience of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with e-commerce platforms, and POS systems is advantageous.
Bilingual (English & French) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Open to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
An understanding of interior design and a passion for home goods would be a valuable asset.

What’s On Offer

We approach employment holistically, supporting career development, professional growth, and employee well-being. Our team members benefit from

Concurial remuneration package.
Employee discounts on GOODEE’s thoughtfully curated selection of home and lifestyle products.
Professional development opportunities, including training and mentorship programs.
A purpose-driven work environment focusing on sustainability, craftsmanship, and conscious commerce.

GOODEE is committed to attracting, developing, and retaining the very best people by fostering an inclusive and creative workplace where talent is recognized and supported. We actively encourage everyone to consider becoming a part of our journey.
