The Organization

NSRJS is a registered charity that has been responding to harm, conflict, and crime on the North Shore since 1997. NSRJS is one of the largest community-based RJ organizations in British Columbia. Current programs include: the Restorative Response Program (RRP) which provides RJ facilitation as an alternative to the criminal court process, the Restorative Schools Program (RSP) which provides weekly whole classroom facilitation with elementary and secondary students as well as training to teachers, and professional development workshops offered to schools and community organizations.

NSRJS's Vision: We will work towards a future where restorative justice practices, principles, and values are used throughout North Shore communities to prevent and heal harms.

Our Mission: To build capacity and connectivity with the North Shore community to prevent and respond to conflict and harm. We will do this through values-based processes that engage elders, adults, and youth.
