Original job description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience managing a complex book of business, sales pipeline, and stakeholder relationships across Automotive (Auto) OEMs, regional dealer associations, franchise dealerships, and Certified Digital Advertising agency partners.
Deep expertise in performance media and modern digital tactics, including Google Search, Performance Max for VLAs, Demand Gen, YouTube, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measurement and attribution.
Demonstrated track record of architecting and scaling centralized dealer marketing programs, co-op funding/compliance frameworks, and first-party data integration with certified agency partners.
Proven ability to influence and negotiate with executive leadership, develop Joint Business Plans, and deliver high-impact roadshows and workshops at scale.

About the job:

Businesses of all shapes and sizes rely on Google’s unparalleled advertising solutions to help them grow in today's dynamic marketing environment. You bring a passion for sales, knowledge of online media, and commitment to maximize customer success. You act like an owner, move with velocity through change, finding innovative and strategic ways to consistently deliver extraordinary and incremental outcomes for both Google and your customers. You build trusted relationships with customers, uncovering their business needs and translating them into powerful solutions to achieve their most ambitious goals. You achieve as a team with sellers, shape the future of advertising in the AI-era, and make a real impact on the millions of companies and billions of users that trust Google with their most important goals.

As an Account Executive on this team, you aren't just selling media; you are the growth architect for the leadership of the world's most prominent OEMs in Canada - visionary brands that are actively redefining the new standard of mobility. With 43% of new car buyers already leveraging AI tools in their purchasing journey, your mission is to elevate our clients from fragmented traditional media spenders into indispensable, AI-powered marketing engines. The automotive industry drives $18 billion into Canada's GDP and supports 600,000 Canadian jobs. If you're eager to shape the industry future, drive impact, and do the most transformative work of your career, your next great opportunity is here.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Partner with Google Customer Solutions on monthly Channel Management reviews to ensure eligible dealer accounts are accurately mapped to Large Customer business goals.
Coordinate with gTech/DTL on scaled monthly reporting, first-party data pipelines, and account security hygiene (e.g., 2FA/Passkey compliance across dealer accounts).
