Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in account management, sales, or marketing.
5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Experience developing and pitching solutions through various channels (i.e., telephone, email, in-person meetings) to prospects.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Google Ads and YouTube account management, managing advertising or media campaigns.
Experience in media across a variety of platforms (i.e., TV, Radio, Print, Sponsorship, etc.).
Experience influencing advertisers, agencies, clients including executive-level stakeholders.
Experience managing multiple accounts with the ability to assess and solve client needs via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged selling.
Experience using AI to drive efficiencies or improve productivity.
Ability to grow in a changing environment with excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.

As a part of the Accelerated Growth Team (AGT) team, you will help Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMB) with growth potential as AGT specializes in building full-funnel digital marketing strategies to accelerate customer growth. As a Digital Strategy Lead within AGT, you will identify and grow customer prospects within a segment of the Google Customer Solutions ecosystem, to set them up for accelerated and sustainable growth on our platforms.

Canada: $156000 - $159000 (CAD) + 40% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of businesses by understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building quarterly plans for achievements.
Drive customer growth by delivering an outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business/marketing objectives.
Own the full cycle sales process by driving customer outreach, sales pitches, solution implementation, and performance evaluation.
Engage and support customers and build relationships by partnering closely with the internal SMB Account Manager pod to pitch solutions and accelerate business growth, while coaching teammates across the organization to proactively expand the skills that cultivate customers growth and contribute to overall team success.
Model sales behaviors including executive-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and promoting, while leading and strengthening executive-level relationships through key meetings, business reviews and speaking engagements.
