Are you organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality administrative and financial support to help the Nunavut Housing Corporations (NHC) District Office in Kinngait, Nunavut operate effectively and deliver positive service to Nunavummiut? Reporting to the District Comptroller, the Administrative Officer is responsible for providing a full range of administrative and financial support to the District Office, while also performing human resources and office administration functions and contributing to the operational efficiency of the NHC.

Qualifications
The knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this job are usually obtained through Grade 12 with additional coursework completed in general, administrative and financial courses, human resources, and/or computer software. In addition, professional working experience in an administrative role is required.
The Official Languages of Nunavut are Inuktut, English and French. Applicants may submit their resume in any of the official languages of Nunavut. Fluency in more than one of Nunavutโs official languages would be considered an asset. Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, Inuktut and experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment are also considered assets.
