Our properties are strategically positioned along key geological structures, including the underexplored Pipestone Fault, associated with the gold-rich Porcupine-Destor Fault system, which has produced over 145 million ounces of gold across the Abitibi Greenstone Belt.

Today, with full ownership of both the Bradshaw Mine and the Redstone Mill, Gowest is uniquely positioned as a fully integrated and growing gold company, advancing from resource production while unlocking long-term potential across our land package.

  • Analyze and trend failure mechanisms to identify reliability improvement opportunities.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on equipment utilization and availability metrics.
  • Design and implement mechanical improvements to existing equipment and processes.
  • Evaluate, resize, and standardize equipment to optimize performance and improve spare parts commonality.
  • Support the development and optimization of automated control logic to improve equipment runtime and performance.
  • Maintain inventory awareness and identify material and equipment requirements for planned maintenance activities.
  • Actively contribute to a safe, healthy, and cooperative work environment with a strong commitment to achieving an accident-free operation.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance programs and practices.
  • Basic knowledge of reliability engineering principles and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze equipment performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports, recommendations, and supporting documentation.
