About the Role

As a Store Manager, you are the leader of your store and play a key role in driving its overall success. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will lead, coach and inspire your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving sales, productivity and operational goals.

You are a people leader, customer champion and business owner who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You lead from the floor, recognize opportunities, make timely decisions and bring energy and urgency to everything you do.

What You'll Do

Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team

Lead by example and create a positive, inclusive and performance-driven store environment
Coach and develop associates in real time to strengthen sales, customer service and product knowledge
Identify individual strengths and development opportunities and create meaningful action plans
Recruit, onboard and develop talent to build a strong and engaged team
Recognize and celebrate team accomplishments while holding associates accountable to expectations
Partner with Regional and HR teams to support employee relations, performance and development
Build a team culture where people feel motivated, supported and excited to succeed

Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience

Create a customer-first culture where every customer feels welcomed, valued and confident in their purchase
Lead from the sales floor by modelling exceptional selling and service behaviours
Observe customer interactions and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and take action to address concerns
Gather feedback from customers and associates and use it to continuously improve the store experience
Stay connected to the competition through regular competitive shops and market observations

Operate like an Owner

Take ownership of store sales, productivity and operational results
Analyze key performance indicators and translate results into clear actions for the team
Manage payroll and staffing to align with business needs and budget
Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are consistently maintained
Oversee inventory receiving, organization and presentation
Identify operational opportunities and communicate solutions and recommendations to business partners
Stay informed on product, fashion and industry trends and share insights with the team
Balance customer needs, team priorities and business objectives to make effective decisions

Qualifications:

Previous retail leadership or Store Manager experience
Experience in fashion, apparel or specialty retail is an asset
Post-secondary education is an asset
A proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
