Your Impact Starts Here

Graham is actively recruiting for a Commercial Manager supporting the Infrastructure Division. The Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing the commercial performance of assigned projects, promoting contractual compliance, proactively managing risk and opportunity, protecting project profitability and supporting successful project delivery. The role provides commercial leadership, guidance and mentorship to project teams and commercial staff and may support individual projects or portfolios with annual revenues exceeding $100 million.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

  • Oversee Commercial & Financial Performance including change management, forecasting, cost control, cash flow, budgets and profitability. Work with project leadership to ensure commercial risks and opportunities are appropriately identified, quantified and reflected in project forecasts, including appropriate provisions for risk and contingency

Ensure subcontract scopes, commercial terms and conditions, procurement documentation and negotiations align with project requirements and Graham's commercial processes and standards
  • Manage Change Orders, Claims & Contract Administration throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and the timely preparation of contractual notices and commercial correspondence. Lead the development of commercial positions and claims strategies and, where appropriate, work with Legal and project leadership in the management of disputes and formal dispute-resolution processes
  • Provide Commercial Leadership & Guidance to pre-construction teams, project teams and business-unit leadership on contractual, financial, risk and commercial matters. Identify emerging commercial issues and provide clear recommendations and strategies for mitigation, recovery or escalation
  • Build & Maintain Key Stakeholder Relationships with clients, consultants, partners, subcontractors and internal teams. Develop strong commercial relationships that facilitate effective negotiation, issue resolution and successful project outcomes
  • Develop Commercial Capability by providing guidance, coaching and mentorship to commercial staff and project teams, promoting consistent commercial practices and sharing lessons learned across the Infrastructure business
