Original job description

Build What Matters

At Graham, one of North America’s largest general contractors, we don’t just build systems, we deliver essential projects that protect communities and sustain the environment. As part of our Water Division, you’ll contribute to impactful work across the region, including wastewater treatment plants, water treatment facilities, water processing and control systems, and stormwater management infrastructure.

Here, your work has purpose. Your safety and growth are supported. And your impact is lasting.

Join a team that builds with commitment, reliability, and integrity. Apply today and help us build what matters.

Your Impact Starts Here

Graham is actively recruiting for a Project Coordinator to support the Mechanical and Electrical scopes within our Water/Wastewater Division. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and initially supporting a mid-sized pumping station project, this role is integral to coordinating, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control throughout all phases of construction.

With a focus on mechanical and electrical scopes, the Project Coordinator will bring strong M&E construction experience and work closely with senior project staff and key subcontractors to support efficient project execution. This role also offers an opportunity for continued growth within Graham’s Water/Wastewater portfolio while gaining hands-on experience coordinating complex mechanical and electrical activities

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

Coordinate Project Activities: Update schedules and budgets, maintain cost control, and monitor labour, material, and equipment throughout all project phases
Manage Documentation: Assist with drawings, revisions, site instructions, change orders, and maintain QA/QC and safety records
Support Meetings & Reporting: Attend project meetings, record minutes, track action items, and provide timely progress reports to the Project Manager
Oversee Change Management: Monitor change processes, identify and track change events, and prepare documentation for review
Ensure Safety & Quality Compliance: Implement and monitor the Project Specific Safety Plan (PSSP) and Quality Plan (PSQP), including KPIs and NCRs

The Right Tools for the Job

Education: Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Technology, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent mechanical/electrical construction education and experience will also be considered.
Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical construction processes, with proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management/scheduling software; strong coordination and documentation skills.
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of construction experience, preferably in a general contracting environment, with demonstrated experience coordinating mechanical and/or electrical scopes of work

Compensation

Salary Range $80,000 to $95,000 per annum
Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
Flexible, comprehensive Health & Dental benefits plan designed to support your well‑being
