Role Description The AZ Driver role at GRANT GLOBAL LOGISTICS INC is a full-time, on-site position based in Vaughan, ON. The driver will operate company trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations, following all applicable road, safety, and transportation regulations. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and securing freight, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, and reporting any vehicle or route issues to dispatch. The AZ Driver will interact with customers and team members professionally, support on-time deliveries, and help ensure that trucks are kept clean and in good working order. The role requires adherence to company policies, safe driving practices, and collaboration with operations staff to meet service and routing expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong truck driving skills and experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
• Valid CDL Class A (AZ) license with a clean driving record and knowledge of applicable transportation regulations.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with dispatch, team members, and customers.
• Customer service skills to ensure respectful, professional, and solution-oriented interactions during pickups and deliveries.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and address minor issues or report concerns promptly.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time schedules, including possible weekends or overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to load, unload, and secure freight safely when required.
• Previous experience in logistics or freight transportation is an asset.
