Original job description

Company Description GRC Concierge is a security and compliance services firm that helps organizations grow by making trust and governance central to their business strategy. The company combines deep engineering expertise with compliance program leadership to deliver tailored solutions across major frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and HIPAA, and platforms like Vanta. Clients partner with GRC Concierge for support ranging from audit readiness and scalable control design to secure architecture and automation of compliance workflows. Its team of Compliance Engineers, Cloud Architects, and vCISOs works collaboratively with customer teams so that security becomes a business enabler rather than a blocker. GRC Concierge also provides managed services, including ongoing program ownership, policy management, evidence collection, and dedicated compliance concierge support.
Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Ottawa, ON, responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships with existing clients. This role involves identifying and qualifying prospective customers, conducting discovery calls, and presenting GRC Concierge’s advisory, engineering, and managed services in a consultative manner. The Account Executive will manage the entire sales cycle, including proposal development, pricing, contract negotiation, and coordination with internal technical teams to ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining an active pipeline, using CRM tools to track opportunities, preparing sales forecasts, and collaborating with marketing on campaigns and events targeting security and compliance buyers. The role also requires ongoing client relationship management, gathering feedback to inform service improvements, and representing the company at industry meetings or conferences.
Qualifications

Strong skills in B2B sales, account management, and pipeline development, with experience managing full-cycle deals from prospecting to close.
Ability to conduct consultative discovery, solution selling, and negotiation, including proposal creation and contract discussions with technical and business stakeholders.
Familiarity with security and compliance domains (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, cloud security) and willingness to learn GRC and compliance automation platforms such as Vanta.
Proficiency with CRM and sales productivity tools, as well as basic data analysis for forecasting and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear business language.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborative mindset and comfort working closely with engineers, architects, and leadership to shape tailored solutions for clients.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience selling professional services
