About the Role:
Are you ready to grow your career in manufacturing and warehousing? We are looking for an energetic, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented self-starter to join our Folding Cartons Production Team as a Material Handler. In this role, you will help keep production running smoothly by safely operating a forklift and sourcing, staging, and transporting materials and finished goods throughout the plant. We are hiring on our morning shift, Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts (propane and electric) in compliance with company safety standards and operational guidelines.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, verify, and stage orders within the warehouse to ensure accurate and timely dispatch.
- Inventory Control & Scanning: Utilize handheld/laptop barcode systems to catalog product locations, perform cycle counts, track stock movements, and report inventory discrepancies or shortages.
- Outbound Outsourcing Logistics: Coordinate, prepare, and stage materials for outsourced processing, ensuring all outgoing shipments are properly organized, verified, and documented prior to dispatch.
- Inbound Outsourcing Logistics: Receive, inspect, and verify returning outsourced materials against job specifications, updating inventory records and clearing receipts in the system.
- Consumables & Job Costing: Issue, allocate, and record job-specific consumables to maintain accurate inventory levels and support precise job costing.
- ERP & Data Entry: Accurately log incoming product receipts, inventory transfers, and operational data into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (EFI) in a timely manner.
- Documentation & Compliance: Complete all required operational documentation, shipping paperwork, and logs with high accuracy, ensuring prompt routing to relevant departments.
- Departmental Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, 5S organization, and safety throughout the Folding Carton and warehouse areas.
- General Warehouse Support: Perform additional material handling and warehouse duties as assigned by department leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current forklift certificate Class 1, 4, 5 required
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to work well with people in a team environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- A position ‘can do’ attitude
