Role Description This part-time Independent Insurance Agent role is a hybrid position based in Saskatoon, SK, with some flexibility to work from home. The agent will meet with prospects and clients to assess their financial protection needs, explain insurance products, and recommend suitable solutions aligned with their goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and networking, conducting needs-based consultations, preparing and presenting insurance proposals, and supporting clients through application, underwriting, and policy issuance. The agent will maintain ongoing client relationships, provide policy reviews, and respond to inquiries and service requests in a timely, professional manner. The role also involves staying informed about insurance products and industry changes, participating in training and development programs, and adhering to regulatory and company compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales, with the ability to prospect, consult, and close needs-based solutions.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage practices, including product types and regulatory considerations.
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Finance, with the ability to discuss budgeting, risk management, and long-term financial security.
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and relationship building.
Relevant qualifications such as a valid life insurance license in Saskatchewan (or willingness to obtain), prior experience in financial services or sales, and comfort with hybrid work (in-person and remote).
Additional beneficial skills include proficiency with basic office and CRM software, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and a commitment to ethical, client-focused advice.
