Support compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), Toronto Children’s Services requirements, Public Health requirements and GRASP policies and procedures.
Support Serious Occurrence procedures and licensing requirements as necessary.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, staff, school personnel and community partners.
Respond appropriately to parent questions and concerns and communicate significant matters to the Executive Director.
Assist with registration, intake, centre tours, supplies, program planning and other administrative responsibilities.
Provide leadership and operational support when the Executive Director is unavailable.
Perform other leadership and operational duties as required to support the needs of the centre.

Qualifications

Diploma in Early Childhood Education or recognized equivalent.
Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
Demonstrated experience working in a licensed child care environment.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RECE who is ready to take on a meaningful leadership role. You should be comfortable making day-to-day decisions, supporting staff, communicating with families, maintaining regulatory requirements and working collaboratively with the Executive Director.
