Original job description

WHO WE ARE

GreenShield is a proudly Canadian, national non-profit health care and insurance organization, driven by our mission of Better Health for All. We believe health care is a right, not a privilege, and we are committed to improving health outcomes, advancing health equity, and building a future where every Canadian can reach their full health and well-being potential.

Through our unique integrated payer-provider ("payvider") model, we offer insurance, administer benefits, and pay claims as a ‘payer’ while offering health care services such as mental health, pharmacy, telemedicine, and chronic disease management as a ‘provider’. As a non-profit social enterprise without shareholders, we reinvest our excess earnings to directly support underserved communities. Through GreenShield Cares, we positively impacted the health and well-being of over one million Canadians between 2020 and 2025. What’s driving us now is the commitment to measurably impact an additional three million Canadians by 2030 – across mental health, essential medicines, and chronic disease management – through scalable initiatives that deliver meaningful change in pursuit of our mission of Better Health for All.

At GreenShield, our culture is where purpose meets passion and performance. Our teams work as one to deliver meaningful, measurable impact for the people and communities we serve.

THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

GreenShield Health is growing fast, and the Practitioner Network Operations Team is currently looking for a conscientious, process-oriented and service-focused individual to support the ongoing maintenance, quality and compliance of the GreenShield Health Practitioner Network. This role is a critical administrative function within the team, supporting practitioner credentialing, recredentialing, record maintenance and day-to-day practitioner support.

The mission of the Practitioner Network Operations (PNO) team is to ensure that the GreenShield Health Practitioner Network is vibrant, robust, well-supported and compliant with network standards.

As a Practitioner Network Administrative Associate, you will support the team in achieving this mission by:

Coordinating the annual practitioner recredentialing process, including obtaining, reviewing and tracking licensing and professional documentation.
Proactively communicating with practitioners to ensure credentialing requirements are completed accurately and within required timelines.
Maintaining accurate practitioner records and supporting compliance with GreenShield Health network standards and requirements.
Using HubSpot and other internal systems to track practitioner credentialing activities and follow up on outstanding requirements.
Responding to practitioner inquiries related to credentialing, payments, network participation and day-to-day administrative support.
Supporting the ongoing maintenance and quality of the GreenShield Health Practitioner Network through timely and accurate administrative processes.
Building positive relationships with practitioners and providing a high level of customer service while representing GreenShield Health.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Completion of a college diploma or university degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in an administrative, coordination, customer service, healthcare or related role.
Previous experience in a client- or customer-facing role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Strong ability to organize information and synthesize key facts for reporting purposes.
Ability to lead administrative tasks, such as note taking and booking onboarding sessions.
Confidence to work independently and within a team environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Able to work in a dynamic team environment and independently.
Able to perform multiple concurrent tasks.
Proven work ethic, with the ability to take initiative and be self-directed.
Proficiency with technology and internal systems, including MS Office or Google Suite; experience with HubSpot or a CRM platform is an asset.
Proficiency in organizing and arranging web-based meetings.
Ability to lead and host internal and external meetings.

WHAT WE OFFER

Base Salary: CAD $43,721.00 - 68,706.00

Offer positioning: Determined using relevant experience, skills, internal equity and current market data.

Total rewards: Health and dental coverage, retirement savings, paid time off and well-being support (up to $10,000 per year for mental health).

Posting disclosures: This is for an existing vacancy.

Work model: Hybrid

THE CULTURE

We believe a career should be meaningful. Not just a means to earn a living. Our culture is one where everyone's voice is heard and valued. Because that’s what it takes to create better health for all. We dare to challenge the status quo. And we’re driven by people who have challenged theirs. We believe that your workplace should empower you to be the best version of yourself. That’s why we provide a place where you can be inspired, challenged, and rewarded.

Where your growth means our growth.

Where your voice is heard and valued.

Where your work has purpose. And purpose matters.

We believe our people are critical to our overall success. Inclusivity makes us a stronger, smarter and more informed organization. Being intentionally inclusive of diverse backgrounds, perspectives and experiences will enhance our company culture to positively impact how we support our communities. A career at GreenShield isn’t just about personal achievements, it's about making a difference together.
