Base Salary: CAD $59,688.00 - 91,109.00
GreenShield is looking for a highly organized, tech-savvy and detail-oriented Total Rewards Administrator to join our People & Culture team on a temporary basis. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys working with data, documents, systems and deadlines - and wants to build their knowledge of Total Rewards.
Reporting to the Director, Total Rewards, you will spend approximately 80% of your time supporting Total Rewards operations and 20% providing general administrative support to the Talent team.
What you’ll do
- Run standard reports and maintain Total Rewards trackers, dashboards and metrics, including disability metric tracking.
- Collect, organize and complete basic checks of compensation, benefits, pension and related information.
- Prepare Total Rewards summaries, presentations, communications, FAQs, templates and process documents.
- Support recurring programs and projects by maintaining calendars, participant lists, files, reminders, and action trackers.
- Coordinate vendor setup, purchase orders, invoices, approvals, and supporting records.
- Organize meetings and education sessions, prepare materials, and follow up on actions and deadlines.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Talent team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous Total Rewards experience is not required.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in HR
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Administration or a related area is an asset, and equivalent education or transferable skills will be considered.
- Experience with Workday or another HR system is also an asset.
What you bring
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfort with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and learning new digital tools.
- Confidence working with spreadsheets, data, reports and trackers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and ask questions when information is unclear.
- Discretion when working with confidential employee information.
- A collaborative, service-focused mindset and interest in learning Total Rewards.
