Job Summary: Join a dynamic and collaborative team where your analytical skills and attention to detail directly impact the success of our real estate portfolio. You’ll take ownership of full-cycle accounting processes, provide insights that drive smart decisions, and develop your professional expertise in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy, integrity, and growth.

Salary Range: $80,000 - 85,000 per year

What You’ll Get To Do:

Take charge of full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties – from journal entries to monthly and year-end closings.
Deliver timely financial statements and reconciliations with confidence and precision.
Provide in-depth variance analysis to uncover what’s really driving performance.
Partner with Operations Managers to build accurate budgets and forecasts that shape future strategy.
Manage recoverable rent reconciliations in line with lease terms, ensuring fairness and clarity.
Lead the financial onboarding of new assets – set the tone for their success.
Handle remittances and maintain top-tier compliance documentation.
Support external audits with well-prepared records and proactive communication.
Be a go-to for Property Managers and clients – you’ll provide real answers, fast.

Who You Are :

3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management.
CPA designation (or is actively pursuing one).
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (YARDI an asset).
Executive time management with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
Stays focused, organized, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
Thrives in collaboration, but can also run solo with full accountability.
Brings a positive, learning-focused mindset to every challenge.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, including journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations, and monthly and year-end closings. Analyze financial performance, support budgeting and forecasting, manage rent reconciliations and remittances, onboard new assets, maintain compliance records, and assist with audits while responding to property managers and clients.

Requirements

Candidates should have 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in property management, and hold or be pursuing a CPA designation. Strong Excel and accounting software skills, with Yardi experience considered an asset, are required alongside effective time management, organization, collaboration, and independent accountability.
