Position Overview
The Slot Cashier is directly responsible for the operations of the front window, transactions with the count room, and assisting with cart transfers as required by the Cage Supervisor. The slot cashier is to promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber patron service to all internal and external patrons of the Casino, while adhering to all rules and regulations set forth by the company, the department and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC).

Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous banking or money handling experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
- To logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work assignments or tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to perceive quality of work, read material and review documents, receive/follow/apply instructions
- Work in a team environment
- Possess high-quality interpersonal skills
- Set and achieve high standards of performance and customer service skills
- Ability to multi task under time constraints
- Perform basic math skills and use problem solving skills
- Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues, learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments and maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques
- The position is physically demanding, ability to stand for extended periods of time; bend, stoop or kneel as required

- Work with tools or equipment pertaining to job requirements
- Perform job tasks and remain vigilant in the event of an emergency
- Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull heavy objects of approximately 40lbs
- Priority will be given to Tsuut'ina Nation members.

Responsibilities

Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent and previous banking or money-handling experience are preferred. Candidates should have strong communication, customer service, teamwork, organizational, math, and problem-solving abilities, and be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting objects of approximately 40 pounds.
