Our client is a renowned law firm in downtown Montreal that is seeking a legal assistant specializing in business law to support an experienced attorney whose current assistant is planning to retire.
YOUR ROLE:
As a Legal Assistant, you will make a valuable contribution to the lawyers in carrying out their various legal mandates. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing letters and legal documents in commercial;
- Reviewing documents and correspondence for compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage;
- Follow up on files and correspondence;
- Scheduling appointments and meeting dates.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- DVS in Secretarial Studies with legal specialization or any other relevant training/experience;
- Experience as a Legal Assistant in commercial;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Meticulousness and good organizational skills;
- Rigor and excellent customer service skills.
