Production Operator

Are you looking for an opportunity to grow your skills, work with modern equipment, and be part of a collaborative team? Norbec is currently seeking motivated and reliable Production Operator to join our Strathroy facility.

This position is based on a rotating 12.5-hour day and night shift schedule and offers the opportunity to learn various aspects of our production operations while contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations by:

• Operating and monitoring production equipment safely and efficiently.

• Handling raw materials, finished products, and components using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

• Supporting the counting, tracking, and movement of inventory, bundles, and production materials.

• Operating equipment in both automatic and manual modes as required.

• Providing coverage in various production areas and supporting different functions across the production line.

• Completing production documentation and data entry to maintain product traceability.

• Performing basic equipment adjustments and minor maintenance tasks.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Participating in shift handovers and team communications.

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and 5S activities.

• Assisting with special projects and other operational requirements as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Forklift and overhead cranes experience or certification is an asset.

• Resourceful, dependable, and able to work independently.

• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn production processes.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Basic computer skills and ability to work with production systems.
