Distribution Center Technician
Distribution center technician
Reporting to the distribution center supervisor, the warehouse technician ensures support for the distribution center's operations.
Your responsibilities:
- Welcoming the drivers;
- Print/Hand out the documents to the drivers;
- Have the drivers sign the documentation;
- Keep the system up to date;
- Ensure that the trailers are in the correct gates;
- Schedule appointments for drivers;
- Validate the trailer inventory;
- Keep the yard inventory up to date;
- Answer customer questions (by phone and email);
- All other related tasks.
Desired profile:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics;
- Excellent computer skills (Office suite, Outlook, etc.);
- Proficiency in the English language (written and spoken);
- Good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken);
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Autonomy/resourcefulness.
