Under the supervision of Warehouse Supervisor, the Operator will be responsible, resourceful, and attentive person who behaves professionally; committed to the interests and profitability of the company.
Ensures to meet the requirements of the position in compliance with health and safety rules.
Responsibilities:
- Follow through with assigned tasks
- Ability to utilize forklift machine to load and off load products on pallets
- objectives
- Ad-here to health and safety procedures and regulations
- Takes charge of the implementation of any special project
- Ensure safe product handling
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Ensure completion of orders to meet customer delivery requirements
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar position
- High school diploma
- Intermediate computer skills
- Forklift and/or reach, order picker, skyjack certified
- Working knowledge of Robert's systems (Yard smart, Manhattan, Acuterm, etc...)
- First Aid Certified
- Ability to recognize and address safety concerns
- Sense of priority management
- Punctual, meticulous, and takes Initiative
- Excellent physical condition
- Team spirit and resourceful
- Ability to stand for a long period of time
- Knowledge of controlled goods (an asset)
