Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a Sales Force Effectiveness Specialist to join our team. This role is a hybrid role that requires 2-3 days in-office at either our Mississauga or Montreal locations and reports to the Sales Force Effectiveness Manager.

As a Sales Force Effectiveness Specialist, you will use data and insight to help our sales teams engage customers more effectively. You will work closely with commercial leaders, sales, analytics and digital teams to design and deliver territory models, customer segmentation and engagement plans that support measurable business outcomes. You will translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations and help GSK optimize sales resources, improve customer reach and support informed commercial decision-making. Details (Your Responsibilities)

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

Partnering with key stakeholders to define segmentation and targeting strategies, including supporting territory design and balancing.
Collaborating with Commercial teams to define target lists, call frequencies and promotional focus across brands and indications.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to establish regional and territory-level SFI targets aligned to global policies and local business objectives.
Partnering with internal stakeholders to design, test, implement and maintain reports and dashboards that enable Commercial teams to monitor performance against established KPIs.
Leading ad hoc analyses to answer priority business questions and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
Leading territory alignment and optimization projects to ensure sales resources match customer opportunity.
Partnering with Commercial, Digital and Business Intelligence teams to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Managing external data sources and vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate inputs for sales analytics.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, life sciences, economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in sales analytics, sales operations, commercial analytics, or similar roles.
Strong analytical skills with experience working with sales, CRM and market data to generate clear, actionable insights.
Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau.
Experience working with CRM or sales activity data and integrating external market datasets.
Ability to translate complex data into simple narratives and recommendations for sales leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Proven track record of managing multiple priorities, working to tight timelines and collaborating effectively across functions and levels.
Comfortable working in a hybrid model, based in Canada with regular office and remote work.

Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

Advanced degree, such as an MBA or MSc, or relevant professional certification
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, including familiarity with field operations
Practical experience with territory design tools or mapping software
Hands-on experience with SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and modelling
Experience with CRM platforms such as Veeva or Salesforce
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience working across a matrix organisation
