As a member of the Ice Crew, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Working alongside the Operations team, you will support daily venue operations by helping ensure the facility is ready for Victoria Royals hockey games, concerts, and other live events.

As a member of the Ice Crew, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Working alongside the Operations team, you will support daily venue operations by helping ensure the facility is ready for Victoria Royals hockey games, concerts, and other live events.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with ice maintenance during Victoria Royals home games, including ice scraping during television timeouts and intermissions.
- Support the setup and teardown of Victoria Royals games, concerts, and other events at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
- Assist with the installation, operation, and removal of fan engagement activations and interactive event elements.
- Welcome guests, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service throughout events.
- Respond to patron concerns professionally, courteously, and efficiently.
- Help prepare and maintain facilities, equipment, and event spaces to ensure they meet organizational and operational standards.

Responsibilities
Maintain the ice during Victoria Royals home games, including scraping during television timeouts and intermissions, and help set up and take down games, concerts, and other events. Support venue operations by preparing facilities and equipment, assisting with fan activations, welcoming guests, and responding to patron concerns.
Requirements
This part-time role calls for a dependable, adaptable, self-motivated team member with a professional and positive approach to customer service. Applicants must be comfortable with hands-on work, including lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds, and have flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and Royals home games; advanced skating ability is an asset.
