JOB STATEMENT:

Reporting to the Vice President, Portfolio Manager, the main responsibility of this position is to deliver high-quality financial-planning support to Private Wealth clients and advisory teams, leading the development and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive financial plans through Conquest Planning. The position analyzes client data and advisor notes to model cash-flow, retirement, tax, estate, and other planning scenarios; prepares clear, client-ready plan summaries and meeting materials; and collaborates with portfolio managers and senior planners on more complex planning needs. The Financial Planning Analyst participates in client meetings, supports the implementation of approved planning recommendations within licensing scope, and maintains accurate, current documentation across planning, CRM, and portfolio systems. Through strong analytical discipline, attention to detail, and clear communication, the role helps ensure a consistent, thoughtful, and client-centered financial-planning experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Build and maintain comprehensive financial plans using Conquest Planning (cash flow, retirement, tax, estate).
Translate advisor notes and client data into accurate plan inputs and scenario analysis.
Prepare plan summaries and client‑ready outputs for meetings (virtual and in‑person).
Maintain up‑to‑date client records across planning, CRM and portfolio systems.
Assist with implementation of planning recommendations within licensing scope.
Collaborate with portfolio managers and senior planners on complex planning cases.
Attend meetings with the advisor and the client

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

1–2 years of experience in financial planning, paraplanning or wealth management support in Canada.
Hands‑on experience using Conquest Planning to build and update financial plans.
Post‑secondary education in finance, commerce, economics, business or related field.
Progress toward a recognized planning designation (CFP, QAFP, PFP) or willingness to pursue.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with numbers.
Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain planning concepts simply.
Experience supporting clients and advisors across multiple provinces.
Exposure to high‑net‑worth and/or corporate executive clients.
Familiarity with other planning, CRM or portfolio tools.
Well organized and deadline aware
Enjoy working in a team environment requiring active participation

COMPENSATION:

The base salary range is expected to be between $80,000 - $90,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
