This role is well suited to a designer with strong technical skills, sound creative judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable collaborating with stakeholders, and confident taking ownership of projects from brief to final delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Graphic Design & Production
- Design, update, and maintain corporate and client-facing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, including new layouts, master slides, templates, and infographics.
- Create and adapt print and digital marketing materials, including brochures, fund profiles, fact sheets, and event collateral.
- Work efficiently with established Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop files, ensuring accuracy and high-quality production.
- Develop new creative assets within established brand guidelines while maintaining consistency across multiple brands and business units.
- Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution, ensuring appropriate formatting and technical specifications.
- Support occasional digital advertising, website content updates, and other digital design initiatives.
Project Management & Collaboration
- Independently manage multiple design requests from initial brief through revisions, approvals, and final delivery.
- Assess project scope, communicate realistic timelines, prioritize competing deadlines, and proactively flag potential delays or challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
- Confidently present and explain design decisions, ask relevant questions, and incorporate constructive feedback.
- Demonstrate flexibility and sound judgment when responding to shifting priorities and time-sensitive requests.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with full professional fluency.
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or Visual Communication, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-4 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating corporate design, presentation design, typography, and brand consistency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including creating presentations from scratch, editing complex existing decks, and working with Slide Master, templates, charts, and custom graphics.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with the ability to confidently edit and produce professional-quality files.
- Working proficiency in Figma and animation or motion graphics software, with practical experience creating or editing digital assets.
- Experience designing and adapting materials across print and digital formats.
- Working knowledge of Canva and generative AI image tools for image creation and editing.
- Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, file organization, and quality control.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders, clarifying expectations, providing project updates, and raising concerns when necessary.
- Receptiveness to feedback and the ability to apply revisions accurately and efficiently.
- Previous experience in financial services, professional services, or another regulated corporate environment.
- Experience preparing production-ready artwork for external print vendors, including knowledge of print specifications and file requirements.
NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with digital advertising formats, website design, and responsive layouts.
- Knowledge of accessible design principles and AODA requirements.
- Experience supporting multiple brands or business units within a corporate environment.
- Experience developing reusable design templates and improving existing creative workflows.

They can confidently take ownership of day-to-day design requests, produce accurate and polished deliverables, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and keep projects moving with minimal day-to-day creative supervision.
