Interior Systems Mechanic – Apprentice
Gurson Construction Ltd. | Halifax, NS
Looking to build a career in the trades? Gurson Construction is looking for an apprentice to join our growing crew. You’ll gain hands-on experience alongside experienced workers, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as your skills develop.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with steel stud framing, drywall installation, insulation, vapour barrier and suspended ceilings.
- Measure, cut and install materials under supervision.
- Help with material handling, site preparation and cleanup.
- Follow safety procedures and work toward quality and production targets.
What we’re looking for:
- Reliable attendance, a good attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with a crew.
- Comfortable with physical work and using tools safely.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Previous construction experience is an asset.
