Responsibilities
Prepare, cut, and lay bricks, blocks, stone, tiles, and other masonry units for residential and commercial construction, repairs, and renovations. Build features such as veneers, patios, garden walls, chimneys, and fireplaces, and instruct apprentices or supervise workers.
Requirements
Requires a secondary school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 2 years of experience. The work is on-site and physically demanding, involving heavy loads, prolonged standing, bending, crouching, kneeling, and work at heights.
