1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

The Warehouse Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations supervises and coordinates activities of workers by determining work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow by properly utilizing employees and their hours. What you’ll do on a typical day:
• Ensure efficient daily operations of the warehouse

Assigns duties, monitors work completion for accuracy and prepare schedules
Supervise the team and provide training and coaching to improve performance
Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service

Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
Adhere to the GXO 7S program
Maintain a clean environment

• Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments
• Implement continuous improvement action plans
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
It’d be great if you also have:
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience
• Experience with inventory cycle counts
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
This job requires the ability to:
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Stand, sit or walk and balance for extended periods of time
• Use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Talking and listening
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Job duties performed in both an office environment and a light industrial environment, thereby experiencing some minor to moderate level of noise due to office equipment and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

The Warehouse Supervisor coordinates daily warehouse operations by preparing schedules, assigning duties, and monitoring workflow accuracy. They are also responsible for supervising the team, providing performance coaching, and implementing continuous improvement plans.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment. A bachelor's degree in logistics or related field is preferred, along with previous managerial experience.
